Making Salt Dough
By Marina Huber In NewsKneading and modelling is another popular activity for children. Yet it doesn’t always have to be store-bought modelling material. The children at our Infanterix Aubing facility made their own salt dough. They measured out flour and salt and mixed it with water in a large bowl. They witnessed how the consistency changed and how the squishy mixture slowly turned into a firm, malleable dough. The finished dough could then be rolled out, shaped and modelled as desired.
